Car
If you're driving from any location in Utrechtse Heuvelrug, take the A12 highway towards Utrecht. You will exit at 'Utrecht/Amersfoort.' Continue on the A27 and follow the signs towards Utrecht. Once in Utrecht, follow the signs to the city center (Binnenstad). Use your GPS to navigate to Lange Nieuwstraat 106, 3512 PN Utrecht. There is limited street parking available nearby, which may incur a fee depending on the duration of your stay.
Public Transportation (Train and Walk)
For those using public transport, start by taking a train from any station in Utrechtse Heuvelrug (e.g., Driebergen-Zeist or Maarn) to Utrecht Central Station. Upon arrival at Utrecht Central, exit the station and take bus line 2 towards 'De Uithof.' Get off at the 'Museum' stop. From there, it's a short walk: head east on Lange Nieuwstraat, and you will find Oude Hortus at number 106. Make sure to check the current train and bus schedules for any changes.
Public Transportation (Bus Only)
Alternatively, you can take a direct bus from Utrechtse Heuvelrug to Utrecht. Check for bus line 50 or 51 that services the area. Alight at the 'Museum' stop. From the bus stop, walk east along Lange Nieuwstraat for a few minutes until you reach Oude Hortus, located at 106. Be aware that bus tickets must be purchased prior to boarding or via the bus service app, and prices may vary depending on the distance.
