Car
If you're driving from the center of Vechtstreek, take the N201 road toward Amsterdam. Follow the signs for Amsterdam and merge onto the A2 highway. Continue on the A2 and then take exit 1 toward Amsterdam-Centrum. Once on the S112, follow the signs toward the city center. As you approach Amsterdam, keep left to stay on S112, which will lead you into the city. Once you reach the Funenkade, look for parking nearby, as street parking may be limited. De Gooyer is located at Funenkade 5, 1018 AL Amsterdam.
Public Transportation
For public transport, start by taking a train from one of the local train stations in Vechtstreek, such as Weesp or Breukelen, toward Amsterdam Central Station. Tickets can be purchased at vending machines or online, costing approximately €8-€10 for a one-way trip. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and take tram number 14 toward Zeeburg. Get off at the stop 'Funenkade.' From there, it's a short walk to De Gooyer at Funenkade 5. You will see the windmill as you approach.
