Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, take the A2 highway from Vechtstreek towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for A44 towards The Hague. After approximately 35 km, exit onto the A12 towards The Hague. Continue on the A12 and take exit 2 for Den Haag-Zuid. Follow signs for Scheveningen. Finally, continue on George Maduroplein, where Madurodam is located. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

    To reach Madurodam by public transportation, first, locate a train station in Vechtstreek and take a train towards Amsterdam Central. From Amsterdam Central, transfer to a train heading to The Hague Central (Den Haag Centraal). Upon arrival at The Hague Central, exit the train station and take tram line 9 (direction Scheveningen) or bus line 22 (direction Scheveningen). Disembark at the 'Madurodam' stop. Make sure to check the public transport schedules for the most accurate travel times. A ticket for this journey will cost approximately €10-€15.
