If you are driving from Vechtstreek to the Royal Palace Amsterdam, start by getting onto the A2 motorway towards Amsterdam. Follow the A2 signs and continue on this road for about 20 kilometers. As you approach Amsterdam, take the exit towards A10 Ring Road. Merge onto the A10 and follow the signs for S100 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Once on the S100, continue straight until you reach the center of Amsterdam. Parking is limited in the city center, so consider using one of the parking garages nearby, such as Q-Park at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. The Royal Palace is a short walk from there.

To reach the Royal Palace Amsterdam using public transportation, start by taking a train from either Weesp or Breukelen train station in Vechtstreek to Amsterdam Central Station. From Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the Dam Square. The Royal Palace is located on the west side of Dam Square, just a 10-minute walk from the station. Alternatively, you can take tram line 4, 9, 16, 20, or 24 from Central Station to the 'Dam' stop, which is directly adjacent to the Royal Palace. Be sure to purchase an OV-chipkaart for smooth travel on public transport, which costs around €7.50.
