If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Veluwe and head towards Hoog Soeren. You can use the A1 motorway heading towards Apeldoorn. Take the exit for N344 towards Apeldoorn/Hoog Soeren. Continue on N344 until you reach the village of Hoog Soeren. Once in the village, follow the signs to Asselsche Heide. There is limited parking available near the entrance. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some change or a card.

For those using public transport, take a train to Apeldoorn station, which is one of the closest major train stations. From Apeldoorn, you can take bus line 21 towards Hoog Soeren. The bus will take you directly to Hoog Soeren village. Disembark at the stop closest to Asselsche Heide, which is usually named 'Hoog Soeren, Asselsche Heide'. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the nature preserve. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary, especially on weekends.
