Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from central Veluwe, first head towards the N304 road. Follow the signs for Deelen. Once you are on the N304, continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the signs for Deelerwoud. Turn onto the smaller roads as directed by the signs. There is ample parking available near the entrance of Deelerwoud. Please be aware that parking may incur a small fee depending on the area, usually around €2 to €5 for the day.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a train to Arnhem Central Station. From Arnhem, take bus line 105 towards 'Deelen'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Deelerwoud' bus stop. From there, follow the walking path signs leading into Deelerwoud, which is about a 10-minute walk. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, especially on weekends and holidays. A single bus ticket costs around €3.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, there are many scenic routes leading to Deelerwoud. You can rent a bicycle in nearby towns such as Arnhem or Ede. From Arnhem, follow the designated cycling paths towards Deelen, which is approximately 12 kilometers away. The route is mostly flat and offers beautiful views of the Veluwe landscape. Make sure to bring a bike lock and check for any rental fees which typically range from €10 to €15 per day.

• Walking

  For those already near Deelen, walking to Deelerwoud is a great option. If you are in the village of Deelen, simply follow the local signs pointing towards Deelerwoud. The walk will take you through lovely rural scenery and should take about 20 to 30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the natural surroundings!
