Car
From Volendam, head south on Havenstraat toward Edam. Take the N518 road and continue to the A7 motorway. Merge onto A7 and follow signs for Amsterdam. After approximately 25 km, take the exit toward S116/Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue on S116 and follow the signs for the city center. Once in the city center, follow signs to Haarlemmerplein. The Haarlemmerpoort is located at Haarlemmerplein 50, 1013 HS Amsterdam. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared for the city to be busy, especially during peak hours.
Public Transportation
From Volendam, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus line 110 towards Amsterdam. This bus will take you to Amsterdam Central Station. Upon arrival at Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus station located right in front. From there, take tram line 3 towards Zuidas. Get off at the Haarlemmerplein stop. The Haarlemmerpoort is just a short walk from the tram stop, located at Haarlemmerplein 50, 1013 HS Amsterdam.
