If you are driving from Volendam to Hofje van Splinter in Alkmaar, start by heading west on Havenstraat towards the N507 road. Follow the N507 for about 10 minutes until you reach the A7 motorway. Merge onto A7 towards Amsterdam. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit 9 towards Alkmaar/N242. Continue on the N242 for about 10 kilometers. Follow signs for Alkmaar, and then merge onto the N9 road. Continue straight until you reach the city center of Alkmaar. Once you are in Alkmaar, follow signs for 'Centrum'. Park your car in one of the public parking areas nearby and walk to Ritsevoort 2, where Hofje van Splinter is located.
