Once you arrive on the mainland, merge onto the A1 highway towards Amsterdam. Follow the A1 until it merges into the A10 ring road. Take exit 14 towards S112/Amsterdam-Centrum. Follow signs for the city center and continue onto the S112. After approximately 5 km, you will reach the city center. Look for parking options nearby, as on-street parking can be limited. From your parking spot, walk towards Stromarkt 1, which is located near the water in Amsterdam-Centrum.

To reach Nieuwe Haarlemmersluis using public transportation, first take a ferry from your island to the mainland. Once on the mainland, head to the nearest train station such as Hoorn or Enkhuizen. From there, catch a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. This journey may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on transfers. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards the eastern side of the station. From here, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Stromarkt 1. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will see the Nieuwe Haarlemmersluis along the canal.
