Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Haarlem, head towards the main square (Grote Markt). Once you reach the square, face the St. Bavo Church. Walk straight down the Kanstraat, which will take you towards the city park. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Kruisweg. Turn left onto the Kruisweg and continue walking until you reach the train station (Haarlem Station). From there, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and walk towards the IJ River. Follow the signs for the city center, then head southwest towards Brouwersgracht & Melkmeisjesbrug. You will arrive at the intersection in about 20 minutes.

    From Haarlem, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the city center (Haarlem City Hall). Take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, transfer to train line Intercity towards Amsterdam Central. Get off at Amsterdam Central Station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the IJ River. Follow the signs to Brouwersgracht & Melkmeisjesbrug, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
