If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the A7 motorway. From places like Hoorn or Enkhuizen, head towards the A7 and follow the signs for Amsterdam. Take the exit towards Avenhorn and merge onto N243. Continue on N243 until you reach the town of Hoorn. From Hoorn, follow the signs to Medemblik via N245. Once in Medemblik, look for local signs directing you to Molen de Ster, which is located at Molenpark 3. Parking is available near the mill.

To reach Molen de Ster using public transport, take a train from your nearest station to either Hoorn or Medemblik. From Hoorn, you can catch a bus (Bus number 2 towards Medemblik) which will drop you near Molenpark. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the local bus schedule ahead of time for accurate timings. The mill is a short walk from the bus stop. If you start from Medemblik, you can take bus number 103, which also stops near the mill.

For those who prefer cycling, there are beautiful bike routes throughout West-Friesland. If you're in Hoorn, you can cycle along the scenic routes heading towards Medemblik. Follow the signs for the LF7 cycle route, which leads directly to Molen de Ster. The approximate distance from Hoorn is about 12 kilometers, and it should take around 45 minutes. There are bike racks available at the mill.
