If you're driving from Zaanse Schans to Haarlemmerdijk in Amsterdam, start by taking the N8 road towards Zaandam. Follow the signs for A8 towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A8 and continue for about 12 kilometers. Take exit 1 towards Amsterdam-Centrum onto S116. Continue straight until you reach the city. Haarlemmerdijk will be on your right. There is street parking available, but it can be limited, so plan ahead.
Public Transportation
To reach Haarlemmerdijk by public transport from Zaanse Schans, first, take bus line 391 from the Zaanse Schans bus stop to Zaandam Station. The ride takes about 15 minutes. Once at Zaandam Station, transfer to a train heading to Amsterdam Central Station (trains depart frequently). The train journey will take around 17 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the Haarlemmerdijk. It’s about a 15-minute walk; head west along the Prins Hendrikkade, then turn left onto Haarlemmerdijk.
