If you're driving from the center of Zaanse Schans, head south on the Zaanse Schans road towards the N8 highway. Merge onto the N8 highway and follow the signs for Amsterdam. Continue on the N8 for about 18 kilometers. Take the exit towards Amsterdam-Zuid and merge onto the A10 ring road. Follow the A10 and take exit 2 towards Amstelveenseweg. Continue onto Amstelveenseweg, which will lead you to Koningsplein. Look for parking options nearby as parking in Amsterdam can be limited.

To reach Koningsplein from Zaanse Schans using public transportation, start by walking to Zaanse Schans bus stop. Take bus 391 towards Amsterdam, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the final stop, Amsterdam, Zouthaven. From there, walk to the Amsterdam Centraal Station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at Centraal Station, catch tram 12 or tram 1 towards Amstelveenseweg. Get off at the Koningsplein stop. You will find Koningsplein just a short walk from the tram stop.
