Getting There

    From Zaanse Schans, take the N8 road towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A8 motorway and continue until you reach the S116 exit towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Follow the signs for Centrum and continue straight onto the IJdok. Keep following the road until you reach Muntplein. There is limited parking available near Muntplein, and you may have to pay for parking, which typically costs around €4 per hour.

  • Public Transportation - Train and Tram

    From Zaanse Schans, walk to the Koog-Zandijk train station (approximately 10 minutes). Take a train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. From there, transfer to the train towards Amsterdam Central Station. Once at Central Station, exit and walk to the tram stop outside the station. Take tram line 4 or 14 towards Muntplein. The tram ride will take about 10 minutes. Be aware that a single ticket for public transport costs around €3.20, and you should validate your ticket before boarding.
