From Zaanse Schans, get on the A8 highway. Follow signs for Amsterdam and merge onto A10 (ring road). Take exit 16 towards Amsterdam-Noord. Continue onto IJ tunnel, and follow signs for NDSM. After exiting the tunnel, follow the signs for NDSM-Plein. There is parking available near NDSM for a fee (approximately €5 per day).

Start at Zaanse Schans and take the bus to Zaandam train station. From Zaandam station, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. Upon arriving at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and head to the ferry terminal (walking distance). Take the free ferry to Amsterdam-Noord. Once you disembark, follow the signs for NDSM (approximately a 15-minute walk). This trip may take around 1.5 hours in total.
