Merge onto A8 and continue for approximately 8 km. Take the exit onto A10 toward Amstelveen/Den Haag. Merge onto A10 and follow the signs for S118 toward Amsterdam-Centrum. As you approach Amsterdam, look for signs directing you to the city center. Park your car in a public parking garage (such as Q-Park Amsterdam Centrum) which may incur a fee of approximately €5-€6 per hour. From the parking garage, walk towards Stromarkt 1, which is a short 10-minute walk.

Public Transportation
From Zaanse Schans, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Zaanse Schans' (about a 5-minute walk). Take bus line 391 towards Amsterdam. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Amsterdam, Zandhoek' stop. From there, transfer to tram line 26 towards Amsterdam, Centraal Station. Get off at 'Amsterdam, Centraal Station' (approximately 10 minutes). Finally, from Centraal Station, it’s a 15-minute walk to Stromarkt 1. Follow the signs towards the city center; once you reach the Dam Square, head west towards the canal area to find Nieuwe haarlemmersluis.
