Car
If you are driving from Zaanse Schans, head southeast on Zaanweg/N246 towards the A8 motorway. Merge onto A8 and continue for about 12 km. Take the exit toward A10 and merge onto A10. Follow signs for S112 towards Amsterdam-Oost. Once you reach the city, follow the signs for Oosterpark. You can park at nearby parking lots or street parking if available.
Public Transportation
To get to Oosterpark from Zaanse Schans using public transportation, first, walk to the nearest bus stop (Zaanse Schans) and take bus line 391 towards Amsterdam, which will take you to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. From there, transfer to train line IC (InterCity) going to Amsterdam Centraal. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and take tram line 19 towards Diemen Sniep. Get off at the Oosterpark stop. Oosterpark will be a short walk from the tram stop.
