Car
If you are driving from Zaanse Schans, head east on the Zaanse Schans road towards the A8 motorway. Merge onto the A8 motorway heading south and continue for approximately 20 km. Take exit 10-Hoorn toward N240. Continue on N240, following signs for Hoorn. After about 5 km, take the exit toward Hoorn-Centrum. Continue straight to stay on Hoornseweg, which will lead you directly into the city center. Oosterpoort will be located at 1621 GZ Hoorn, where you can find parking nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Oosterpoort by public transport, start by taking the bus from Zaanse Schans. Board bus line 391 towards Hoorn and stay on for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Hoorn, Station' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Oosterpoort. Exit the bus station and head southwest on Stationsplein. Continue straight onto Kerkstraat, then turn left onto Oosterstraat. Oosterpoort is located at 1621 GZ Hoorn. The walk will take approximately 10 minutes.
