If you are driving, start from Zaanse Schans and head southeast on the Zaanse Schans road towards the N203. Continue on the N203 for about 10 km until you reach the N240. Merge onto the N240 and follow signs for Hoorn. After approximately 5 km, take the exit toward Hoorn/Binnenstad. Continue on the Hoorn road until you reach Roode Steen. The Waag is located at Roode Steen 8, 1621 CV Hoorn, where you can find parking nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Waag by public transport, start at the Zaanse Schans bus stop. Take bus line 391 towards Hoorn. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Hoorn, Station' stop. From there, walk towards the city center: head northeast on Stationsweg, then turn left onto Nieuwe Steen. Continue straight until you reach Roode Steen. The Waag will be on your right at Roode Steen 8.
