Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Zaanse Schans visitor center, head east towards the main road, and take a left onto Kalverpolderpad. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. Uitzichttoren Zaanse Schans will be on your right side, near the edge of the Kalverpolder area.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle from one of the rental shops at Zaanse Schans, exit the rental area and head towards the main road. Turn left onto Kalverpolderpad and cycle straight for about 5-10 minutes. Uitzichttoren Zaanse Schans will be on your right. There are bike racks available for parking.

  • Public Transport

    If you are coming from Amsterdam, take the train from Amsterdam Central Station to Koog-Zaandijk station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive, exit the station and follow the signs towards Zaanse Schans (about a 15-minute walk). Upon reaching Zaanse Schans, walk east towards Kalverpolderpad and you will find Uitzichttoren Zaanse Schans on your right.

  • Car

    From Amsterdam, take the A10 ring road and follow signs for the A8 towards Zaandam. Exit the A8 at the Zaanse Schans exit. Continue on the road until you reach Kalverpolderpad. There is parking available near Zaanse Schans. After parking, walk east along Kalverpolderpad for about 10 minutes to reach Uitzichttoren Zaanse Schans.
