Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards the center of Amsterdam. From Zaanstreek, take the A8 highway towards Amsterdam. Stay on the A8 for about 15-20 minutes until it merges into the S116. Follow signs for Amsterdam-Centrum. Once you reach the city center, look for parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited. The nearest parking garage is 'Q-Park Amsterdam Centrum' located at Nieuwendijk 200. After parking, walk towards Jonge Roelensteeg which is about a 10-minute walk.

• Train

  To reach Abraxas by train, take a train from Zaandam Station to Amsterdam Centraal. Trains run frequently and the journey takes approximately 12-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk. Exit the station, walk straight down towards Damrak, then take a right onto Damstraat. Continue onto Rokin, then turn left onto Jonge Roelensteeg. Abraxas will be on your left at number 12-14.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, catch bus line 391 from Zaanstreek which will take you directly to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. From there, transfer to tram line 12 or 14, which will take you to the Dam stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards Jonge Roelensteeg, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head towards the Rokin, and then take a left onto Jonge Roelensteeg. Abraxas will be located at number 12-14.

• Bicycle

  For a more adventurous route, you can bike from Zaanstreek to Amsterdam. Follow the dedicated cycling paths via the Zaan River, which will lead you into the city. Once you reach the Amsterdam center, head towards Dam Square and then take a left onto Rokin. Continue until you reach Jonge Roelensteeg, where Abraxas is located at number 12-14. Make sure to park your bike at one of the bike racks nearby.
