Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Zaanstreek, take the A8 motorway towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A10 ring road and follow the signs for A2 towards Utrecht. Continue on the A2 for about 26 kilometers. Take exit 8 for Utrecht towards Centrum. Follow the signs to the city center, and park at one of the public parking garages nearby, such as 'Parkeergarage Mariaplaats'. From the garage, it's a short walk to Mariaplaats.

• Train

  To reach Mariaplaats by train, head to the nearest train station in Zaanstreek, like Zaandam. Board a train heading towards Utrecht Central Station, which typically takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the city center. You can either walk to Mariaplaats, which takes about 15 minutes, or take a local bus (line 2 or 3) that stops nearby.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch a bus from Zaanstreek to Utrecht. Check the local bus schedules, as routes may vary. Generally, you would take a bus to a station like Amsterdam Sloterdijk and transfer to a bus heading to Utrecht. Once in Utrecht, disembark at the nearest bus stop to Mariaplaats. From there, it's a short walk to the destination.
