The weather was terrible...

The weather was terrible with downpours, so that limited the enjoyment of the excursion, but if the weather had been better, it would have been a 5 star trip. Beautiful scenery and interesting tour of the shoe factory. In depth view of life in Holland

This was the most amazing day! Esther was a fabulous tour guide, and took us to so many wonderful places - Zaan Schanse to see the windmills, cheese and clog making, then an afternoon at Keukenhof gardens. She took us to some out of the way farms where we saw some experimental tulip fields, and also a field where the tulips were being harvested. It was a full day of beauty and fun. Esther grew up in a windmill herself, and had many fascinating stories of the area. Highly recommend!
