Start at the Boulder City Visitor Center located at 401 Nevada Way, Boulder City, NV 89005. From the Visitor Center, head east on Nevada Way towards 5th Street. Turn left on 5th Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Buchanan Blvd. Turn right onto Buchanan Blvd and follow it as it curves into Lakeshore Drive. Continue on Lakeshore Drive until you reach the entrance of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. After entering the park, look for the Fortification Hill trailhead, which will be well-marked. The hike to Fortification Hill will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
