Getting There

  • Walking

    Begin your journey at the Boulder City Library located at 701 Adams Blvd. From the library, head east on Adams Blvd toward Nevada Way. Continue straight until you reach Nevada Way, then turn left. Follow Nevada Way until it intersects with US-93 S. Cross the street carefully and continue onto US-93 S. After a short walk, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Lake Mead. You'll want to look for Lakeshore Road to your left. Follow Lakeshore Road; it will lead you directly to the Lake Mead Visitor Center at 10 Lakeshore Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005.

  • Biking

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Boulder City. Start your ride at the Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department at 900 Arizona St. From there, head south on Arizona St until you reach the intersection with Nevada Way. Turn left onto Nevada Way and continue biking until you reach US-93 S. Carefully cross to the left side of the highway and follow the signs leading to Lakeshore Road.
