From the center of Boulder City, head south on Nevada Way. Walk until you reach the intersection with the Great Basin Highway (US-93). Turn left onto Great Basin Highway and continue walking for about 1 mile. The River Mountains Loop Trail entrance will be on your right, just past the large parking area.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and ride south along Nevada Way. When you reach the intersection with Great Basin Highway, take a left onto the highway. Continue cycling for approximately 1 mile. The entrance to the River Mountains Loop Trail will be on your right side, just after the parking area.

To reach the River Mountains Loop Trail using public transport, locate the nearest bus stop on Nevada Way. Board the bus heading towards Henderson. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Great Basin Highway and Nevada Way. Walk along Great Basin Highway for about 0.5 miles; the trail entrance will be on your right, just past the parking area.
