If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and ride south along Nevada Way. When you reach the intersection with Great Basin Highway, take a left onto the highway. Continue cycling for approximately 1 mile. The entrance to the River Mountains Loop Trail will be on your right side, just after the parking area.

To reach the River Mountains Loop Trail using public transport, locate the nearest bus stop on Nevada Way. Board the bus heading towards Henderson. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Great Basin Highway and Nevada Way.
