Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Boulder City, head east on Nevada Way. Continue walking straight for about half a mile, passing by local shops and eateries. When you reach the intersection with US-93, cross safely to the other side. Follow the signs toward the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Once you reach the entrance at Lakeshore Road, turn left and walk about 1.5 miles until you arrive at the Lake Mead Visitor Center located at 10 Lakeshore Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005.

    If you have a bicycle, start from downtown Boulder City and ride east on Nevada Way. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn left onto US-93. Be cautious of traffic as you ride on the shoulder. After about 1 mile, look for the entrance to Lake Mead National Recreation Area on your right. Continue on Lakeshore Road for another 1.5 miles until you reach the Lake Mead Visitor Center at 10 Lakeshore Rd.
