Start your journey at the Nevada State Capitol, located at 101 N Carson St. Head north on Carson St towards W 2nd St. Turn left onto W 2nd St and follow it until you reach N Carson St. Here, turn right and continue walking until you reach the intersection with E William St. Turn left onto E William St and continue straight until you reach the end of the road where you will find the entrance to the Carson City Urban Trail. Follow the trail that leads towards the east, which will eventually take you closer to Lake Tahoe. The trail will lead you through beautiful natural scenery and will eventually connect you to other hiking trails.
