    Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Carson City, head west on W Robinson St toward N Curry St. Continue on W Robinson St until you reach the intersection with N Carson St. Turn left onto N Carson St and walk south until you reach W 2nd St. Turn right onto W 2nd St and continue until you reach S Carson St. Here, you can catch the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus number 19 towards Reno. It will take you directly to Reno, approximately a 30-minute ride. Get off at the stop near W 1st St and N Arlington Ave. From there, walk a short distance to the Truckee River Whitewater Park, which will be on your left.

    Public Transportation (Bus)

    From the Carson City RTC transit center located at 2050 College Parkway, board the RTC bus number 19 heading to Reno. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Reno, disembark at the stop closest to W 1st St and N Arlington Ave. Walk towards the intersection, and you will find the Truckee River Whitewater Park just a short walk away on your left.

    Biking

    If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Carson City. Start by heading west on W Robinson St toward N Curry St. Continue to N Carson St and turn south. Follow N Carson St until you reach W 2nd St, then turn right. Continue on W 2nd St until you reach S Carson St. Here, catch the RTC bus number 19 towards Reno. After arriving in Reno, bike to W 1st St and N Arlington Ave. The Truckee River Whitewater Park will be on your left.
