Walking
If you are starting from the downtown area of Sparks, head west on Victorian Avenue toward Pyramid Way. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Pyramid Way. Continue walking for approximately 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with I-80. Cross safely at the crosswalks and continue to follow Pyramid Way until you reach the intersection with E 4th St. Turn left onto E 4th St and continue for about 1.2 miles. You will then enter Reno. As you approach the Riverwalk District, look for signs directing you to the Portal of Evolution Sculpture which is located near the Truckee River.
