Car
If you are traveling by car from Central Nevada, you can take US-95 N towards Reno. Depending on your starting point in Central Nevada, you may first need to get on NV-50 W or NV-347 N to connect with US-95 N. Continue on US-95 N until you reach the junction with I-80 W. Merge onto I-80 W and continue for about 140 miles. Take exit 13 for Virginia St toward Downtown Reno. At the traffic light, turn left onto N Virginia St. The Reno Arch will be located on your left at 345 N Virginia St. Parking is available in nearby parking garages or metered street parking, which may incur costs ranging from $1 to $2 per hour.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from various locations in Central Nevada to Reno. Once you arrive at the Greyhound bus station in Reno, which is located at 1550 E 4th St, you can walk or take a local bus to the Reno Arch. If walking, head west on E 4th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach N Virginia St. Turn left on N Virginia St, and the Reno Arch will be approximately 0.3 miles ahead. Alternatively, you can take RTC public buses; the nearest bus stop is on N Virginia St, which runs routes to various parts of the city. A single bus fare typically costs $2.
