If you are traveling by car from any location in Douglas County, start by getting onto US-395 S. Continue on US-395 S until you reach the junction with NV-208 E. Take the exit toward Yerington/NV-208 E. Follow NV-208 E until you reach the junction with US-93 S. Merge onto US-93 S and continue to follow it. After approximately 50 miles, you will arrive in the vicinity of Caliente, NV. From Caliente, take the Beaver Dam Road exit. Follow Beaver Dam Rd for about 5 miles until you reach Beaver Dam State Park, located at Beaver Dam Rd, Caliente, NV 89008. There is no entry fee for the park, but check for any specific parking fees or regulations upon arrival.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound bus or local transit to a nearby city like Ely or Las Vegas, which are the closest major cities to Douglas County. From Ely or Las Vegas, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Caliente, NV. The distance is about 100 miles from Ely and 150 miles from Las Vegas to Caliente. Upon arriving in Caliente, you can use a taxi or rideshare to reach Beaver Dam State Park. Be sure to schedule your transportation in advance as options may be limited.
