To reach Eagle Falls Loop from Carson City, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Carson Street. Take the Douglas County Route 19 bus heading towards South Lake Tahoe. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in South Lake Tahoe, get off at the Stateline bus stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local shuttle to Eagle Falls Loop, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow Lake Tahoe Boulevard (CA-89) south, then turn left onto Eagle Falls Loop.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Carson City. Start from the downtown area and head towards the east side of the city. Follow the bike path along US-395 towards South Lake Tahoe. The ride is approximately 20 miles and will take around 2 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach South Lake Tahoe, continue to follow signs for Lake Tahoe Boulevard (CA-89) and proceed towards Eagle Falls Loop. The trailhead is easily accessible from the road.

If you are up for a long hike, you can begin your journey by walking to the Carson City bus station and catching the Route 19 bus to South Lake Tahoe as described above. Alternatively, for a more scenic route, you can walk towards the Tahoe Rim Trail from Carson City. This will take significantly longer, so prepare for a day hike. The Tahoe Rim Trail provides beautiful views and will eventually lead you towards the South Lake Tahoe area. From there, you can take the aforementioned route to reach Eagle Falls Loop.
