Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading north on US-395 from any point in Douglas County. Continue on US-395 for about 22 miles until you reach the exit for I-80 East toward Reno. Take I-80 East for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 13 for Virginia St toward Downtown Reno, and merge onto S Virginia St. Continue on S Virginia St for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Museum Dr. The National Automobile Museum will be on your right at 1 Museum Dr, Reno, NV 89501. There is a parking lot available, but be aware that parking may incur a fee depending on the time of day.

Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take the Douglas County Public Transit (DCPT) bus service to the nearest major transit hub, which is in Carson City. From Carson City, transfer to the RTC Washoe bus service. Board the RTC Route 19 bus heading towards the Reno area. The bus will take you directly to downtown Reno. Once you arrive at the downtown Reno bus terminal, walk approximately 0.5 miles south along Virginia St until you reach Museum Dr. Turn left onto Museum Dr, and the National Automobile Museum will be on your right. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary, and prepare for a transfer.
