Public Transportation
From Elko, head to the Elko Transit Center located at 1235 Idaho St. Board the Route 1 bus towards the Elko Airport. This bus will take you towards the outskirts of town. You will need to get off at the last stop, which is the airport. From there, you will need to arrange for a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Elko Hot Springs, as it is not within walking distance from the airport.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, start at the Elko City Park located at 1000 Idaho St. From the park, head north on Idaho St. until you reach 5th St. Turn left onto 5th St. and continue until you reach the intersection with Lamoille Hwy (NV-227). Turn right onto Lamoille Hwy and follow it for approximately 15 miles. The hot springs will be located on the right side. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
Walking
Walking to Elko Hot Springs from the center of Elko is quite a trek. Start at the intersection of Idaho St and 1st St. Head north on Idaho St. until you reach the intersection with Lamoille Hwy (NV-227). Turn left onto Lamoille Hwy and continue walking for about 15 miles. Note that this route is not pedestrian-friendly for the entire distance, so it is advisable to consider alternative transportation methods like biking or rideshare.
