Car
If you're driving in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, follow the main roads leading to the Lake Mead Visitor Center at 10 Lakeshore Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005. From the entrance of the park, take Lakeshore Road (NV-167) and continue for approximately 5 miles. The Visitor Center will be on your right. There is no entrance fee to the Visitor Center itself, but you may need to pay an entrance fee to the park, which is $25 per vehicle valid for seven days.

Currently, public transportation options are limited in the Lake Mead area. However, if you are staying in Las Vegas, you can take a shuttle service to the recreation area. Look for shuttle services that specifically mention Lake Mead National Recreation Area, as they will drop you off at key locations within the park. Once you arrive, you can walk or use park shuttles to reach the Visitor Center.

For those interested in biking, there are bike paths available in some areas of Lake Mead National Recreation Area. You can bike along Lakeshore Road towards the Visitor Center. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you have the appropriate gear. This is a great way to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but keep in mind that it is approximately a 5-mile ride from the nearest parking area or shuttle drop-off point.
