Getting There

    If you're driving in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, follow the main roads leading to the Lake Mead Visitor Center at 10 Lakeshore Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005. From the entrance of the park, take Lakeshore Road (NV-167) and continue for approximately 5 miles. The Visitor Center will be on your right. There is no entrance fee to the Visitor Center itself, but you may need to pay an entrance fee to the park, which is $25 per vehicle valid for seven days.

    Currently, public transportation options are limited in the Lake Mead area. However, if you are staying in Las Vegas, you can take a shuttle service to the recreation area.
