Bus
From downtown Carson City, head to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Carson and 2nd Street. Take the Carson City public transit bus towards Lake Tahoe. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop for Tahoma. After getting off the bus, walk west on Emerald Bay Rd for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Meeks Bay Resort.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Carson City. From the rental shop, head south towards the Carson River and follow the bike trails until you reach Highway 50. Take the bike lane on Highway 50 heading west towards Tahoma. After approximately 22 miles, turn left onto Emerald Bay Rd and continue for about 2 miles until you reach Meeks Bay Resort.

If you wish to walk, start from the Nevada State Capitol in downtown Carson City. Head west on West Robinson St until you reach S Carson St. Turn left and continue walking straight until you reach Highway 50. Follow the pedestrian paths along Highway 50 heading west. This is a long walk, approximately 22 miles, so prepare accordingly. Once you reach Tahoma, turn left onto Emerald Bay Rd and continue until you reach Meeks Bay Resort.
