Getting There
Car
If you are driving, start from South Lake Tahoe. Head east on US-50 E towards Meyers. Continue on US-50 E for about 2.5 miles. Take the exit for CA-89 S towards Markleeville. After about 4 miles, turn left onto Glen Alpine Rd. Continue on Glen Alpine Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area at the Glen Alpine Falls trailhead. Note that parking in the area may require a parking fee, which is typically around $5-$10, depending on the season.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take the Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) bus service from South Lake Tahoe. Board the Route 50 bus at any designated bus stop and ride towards Meyers. Get off at the 'Meyers' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Glen Alpine Rd. Once on Glen Alpine Rd, you can either walk or ride a bike for the remaining distance to the falls. Be aware that the bus fare is usually around $2 per ride.
Hiking
If you are already near the trailhead and prefer a more adventurous approach, you can hike to Glen Alpine Falls. Start from the Glen Alpine Falls trailhead which is accessible from Glen Alpine Rd.
