Car
If you are driving from South Lake Tahoe, take US-50 East towards Stateline. Continue for about 6 miles. Take the exit for CA-89 South towards South Lake Tahoe. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Sawmill Rd. Follow Sawmill Rd for about 1 mile and you will see the entrance to Washoe Meadows State Park on your left. There is no entrance fee, but be sure to check for any parking fees that might apply.

To reach Washoe Meadows State Park via public transportation, take the BlueGO bus service from various locations in Lake Tahoe. You can catch the bus at the Heavenly Village Transit Center or Stateline. Make sure to check the BlueGO schedule for the latest routes and times. You will want to get off at the nearest stop to Sawmill Rd and then walk approximately 0.5 miles down Sawmill Rd to reach the park entrance. Note that bus fare may vary, typically around $2 per ride.
