If you are in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, start by heading southeast on Fremont Street. Walk past the Fremont Experience until you reach Las Vegas Boulevard. Continue walking south on Las Vegas Boulevard for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass several shops and restaurants. After you cross the intersection with Charleston Boulevard, look for East Washington Avenue on your right. Turn right onto East Washington Avenue, and then take another right onto South 15th Street. The First Airport Site Historical Marker will be located on your left, at the intersection with East Lewis Avenue.

For those preferring public transportation, begin at the nearest bus stop on Fremont Street. Take the RTC Transit Bus Route 108 heading east towards the Las Vegas Convention Center. After about 10 minutes, get off at the bus stop at East Washington Avenue and South 15th Street. From there, walk two blocks south on South 15th Street until you reach the First Airport Site Historical Marker. Note that a one-way bus fare is approximately $2.00.
