Walking
Start at the Laughlin Riverwalk, which runs along the Colorado River. Head towards the Bullhead City Bridge. Cross the bridge into Bullhead City, Arizona. Once you cross, continue straight on AZ-95 N. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach a junction where you can see signs for Thumb Butte. Follow the signs and take the right onto AZ-95 N. Continue for another 3.5 miles until you reach a small parking area for Thumb Butte.

Public Transport
From Laughlin, take the local bus service, the Bullhead City Transit. Board the bus at one of the designated stops in Laughlin heading towards Bullhead City. Inform the driver you are going to Thumb Butte. The bus will drop you off at the closest stop to Thumb Butte, which is near AZ-95 N. Walk towards the Thumb Butte trailhead from the bus stop, which is about a 15-minute walk.
