If you are driving from anywhere in Lyon County, you can take US-50 W toward Carson City. Continue on US-50 W for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with I-580 N. Merge onto I-580 N and continue for approximately 12 miles. Take exit 39 for Carson St toward NV-395 N. Turn right onto Carson St (NV-395 N) and drive for about 1.5 miles. The Nevada State Museum will be on your right at 600 N Carson St, Carson City, NV 89701. There is free parking available on-site.
