If you are driving, start from the center of Mount Charleston. Head south on NV-157 (also known as Kyle Canyon Road). After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto Cathedral Rock Picnic Upper Road. Drive for about 1 mile, and you will see the South Loop Trailhead parking area on your left. There are no entrance fees to access the trailhead.
