From there, walk north on N Carson St for about 10 minutes until you reach the Carson City Historical Society located at 1207 N Carson St.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Reno. Head towards the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail which leads towards Carson City. Follow the trail south, and it will eventually take you directly into Carson City. Once in Carson City, make your way to N Carson St and continue until you reach 1207 N Carson St, which is the location of the Carson City Historical Society. This ride is approximately 30 miles and can take around 2-3 hours depending on your cycling speed.
Walking
Walking from Reno to Carson City is quite a long trek, approximately 30 miles, and not advisable for most tourists. However, if you are an avid walker, start from downtown Reno making your way south towards S Virginia St. Continue on S Virginia St until you reach the intersection with US-395. Follow US-395 southbound, which eventually leads towards Carson City. Once you arrive in Carson City, head to N Carson St and walk north until you reach the Carson City Historical Society at 1207 N Carson St. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
