Getting There

• Public Transport - Bus

  From downtown Reno, walk to the nearest bus stop on Virginia Street. Catch the RTC bus route 10 (South Virginia) heading towards South Meadows. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of South Virginia and Mount Rose Highway. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Indian Head. Head east on Mount Rose Highway, then turn left on Skyline Blvd. Continue straight until you reach Indian Head.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Reno. Start your journey by heading south on Virginia Street. When you reach the intersection with Mount Rose Highway, turn right and follow the highway. Indian Head is approximately a 5-mile bike ride from downtown. Be cautious of the traffic and use bike lanes where available.

  For the adventurous, you can walk to Indian Head from downtown Reno. Start on Virginia Street and head south towards Mount Rose Highway. It is about a 2-hour walk (approximately 5 miles). Follow Virginia Street until you reach the intersection with Mount Rose Highway, then turn right. Continue walking along Mount Rose Highway until you reach Indian Head. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.

• Rideshare

  Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Simply enter 'Indian Head, Reno, NV 89509' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your current location in Reno and drop you off directly at Indian Head. This is the most convenient option, especially if you are traveling with luggage or in a group.
