Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Reno, head to the Reno Transportation Center located at 200 E 4th St. Catch the RTC RIDE bus Route 11 (North Valleys) heading towards North Valleys Transit Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Rainbow Ridge Rd and N Virginia St. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles northwest on Rainbow Ridge Rd. Follow the road as it curves, and you will arrive at Rainbow Ridge Park located at 1355 Rainbow Ridge Rd.
Walking
If you are already near the University of Nevada, Reno, you can walk to Rainbow Ridge Park. Start by heading north on N Virginia St, then turn left onto E 9th St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rainbow Ridge Rd. Turn right onto Rainbow Ridge Rd and walk approximately 1 mile. The park will be on your left at 1355 Rainbow Ridge Rd.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Reno. Head north on N Virginia St, then turn left onto E 9th St. Continue straight to Rainbow Ridge Rd and make a right turn. The park is about 1 mile down the road. There are bike racks available at the park for parking your bicycle.
