Public Transit
From downtown Reno, walk to the RTC (Reno Transportation Commission) bus station located at 4th St and Virginia St. Take Bus Route 15 (North Valleys) towards North Valleys. Stay on the bus for about 25-30 minutes and get off at the 'Reno-Sparks Indian Colony' stop. From there, walk northwest on I-580 N for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Hunter Creek Rd. Follow Hunter Creek Rd for approximately 0.7 miles until you reach the Hunter Creek Trailhead.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Reno. Head north on Virginia St towards E 1st St, then take a left on E 1st St. Continue onto I-580 N bike path. After about 2 miles, turn onto Hunter Creek Rd. Follow Hunter Creek Rd for about 0.7 miles until you reach the Hunter Creek Trailhead. Enjoy the scenic ride!
Walking
For those who prefer to walk, start at the Reno Arch on Virginia St and head north. Follow Virginia St until you reach I-580 N. You will need to walk along the I-580 bike path for about 2 miles. Once you reach Hunter Creek Rd, turn left and continue walking for about 0.7 miles until you arrive at the Hunter Creek Trailhead.
