Car
If you are driving from Las Vegas, take I-15 N towards Salt Lake City. After about 30 miles, take exit 54 for US-93 N toward Ely. Continue on US-93 N for about 35 miles until you reach the junction with NV-168. Turn left onto NV-168 and follow it for about 20 miles. You will eventually arrive at Nellis Air Force Base. Gypsum Cave is located within the base's vicinity, and you may need to present identification to enter. Ensure you have updated maps or a GPS device, as the cave's exact location may require additional navigation.
Public Transportation
While public transportation options are limited in this area, you can take a Greyhound bus from Las Vegas to the nearest town, which is about 20 miles from Nellis AFB. Once you arrive, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service as there is no direct public transit to Gypsum Cave.
