If you're driving, head towards Ely, NV. From Las Vegas, take US-93 North for about 250 miles. Continue on US-93 until you reach the junction with US-6 East. Take US-6 East for approximately 60 miles, then turn right onto NV-318 North. Follow NV-318 until you reach Ely. Once in Ely, follow signs to downtown, and then turn left onto Avenue A. The Nevada Northern Railway Museum will be on your right at 1100 Ave A.
