Public Transit - Bus

From the center of Sparks, head to the nearest bus stop. Board the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus route 11 towards Reno. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the 'Idlewild Park' stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance north to the park entrance located at 2055 Idlewild Dr, Reno, NV 89509.
Walking

If you are near the Sparks Marina Park, you can walk towards the intersection of E Prater Way and S McCarran Blvd. Head west on E Prater Way for about 1.5 miles until you reach S Virginia St. Turn left onto S Virginia St and continue walking for another mile. Turn right onto Idlewild Dr, where you will find Idlewild Park on your left.
Bicycle

From downtown Sparks, rent a bicycle and head south on Pyramid Way until you reach E Prater Way. Turn left onto E Prater Way and continue for about 1 mile. Then, turn right onto S Virginia St and follow it until you reach Idlewild Dr. Turn left onto Idlewild Dr and the park entrance will be on your left at 2055 Idlewild Dr, Reno, NV 89509.
